Who we are

What this page is

This is a single page whose only purpose is to let you tell us about your brand and book an introductory call. We do not sell anything on it, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

What you give us

The form asks for seven things: your name, your email address, your brand name, your website, the revenue band that best fits your business, how you heard about us, and a short description of your project. Your website and the how-you-heard question are optional. The rest are required, because without them we cannot prepare for the call or reply to you.

When you submit the form, that information is stored in a Google Sheet that we use as our enquiry log. If you continue to book a call, the details needed for scheduling are also sent to Calendly. Calendly sends your booking confirmation and reminders.

What is collected automatically

We record how you arrived, so that we know which advertising is worth running. On your first visit we store a first-party cookie named zag_attr, and a copy in your browser under zag_attr_v1, both of which last for 90 days. Between them they hold the campaign parameters in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), the Meta and Google click identifiers fbclid and gclid, the address of the page that referred you, the address of the page you landed on, and the times of your first and most recent visit.

That record is attached to your enquiry when you submit the form, and the campaign parameters are also passed to Calendly along with your booking, so that a booked call can be matched back to the advertisement that produced it.

Our servers process your IP address to apply a short rate limit, so that the form cannot be flooded. That check is held in memory for about a minute and is not written to any database or log of ours. Your IP address and browser user agent are also passed to Meta as part of the advertising measurement described below.

Booking a call

Booking is handled by Calendly, a scheduling company, whose booking tool is embedded in this page after the form. Calendly is a separate company acting as our provider, and it receives your information directly.

When you book, your name and email address are sent to Calendly, along with your answers to any questions Calendly asks on the booking form and the campaign parameters described above. Calendly then places the appointment on ZAG's Google Calendar, emails you its own confirmation and any reminders you have chosen, and includes a link for the video call where the booking type has one. Both Calendly and Google therefore hold your name, your email address and the time you picked, each under its own terms as our provider.

Calendly sets its own cookies in your browser in order to run the booking tool. Calendly's own cookie notice is not displayed inside the embedded version we use, so we describe its cookies here instead. Calendly publishes its own privacy notice, which governs what it does with your information once it has it.

While you move from the form to the booking step, your browser holds your name, email address, the five other form answers and a reference number for your enquiry in per-tab session storage under the key zag_booking_v1, so you do not have to repeat your details after reloading. The reference number lets us match your booking back to your enquiry. A completion flag under zag_booking_complete_v1 keeps your confirmation visible after a reload. These records are specific to that tab and your browser discards them when you close it.

Advertising and measurement

We use the Meta pixel on this page, and we also send the matching events to Meta from our own server through the Conversions API. Sending both is a technical measure that lets Meta recognise the two reports as one event rather than counting it twice.

When you submit the form or complete a booking, the server-side event includes your email address in hashed form. Hashing means we apply a one-way transformation before sending, so Meta receives a fingerprint rather than a readable address. The event also includes the Meta browser cookies _fbp and _fbc if they are present, your IP address and your browser user agent, which Meta uses to attribute the result to an advertisement.

If Google Analytics is enabled on this page, it receives the same events without your email address, and we use it only to understand how the page performs.

You can limit this. Browser and device settings that block third-party tracking, and Meta's own advertising controls in your Meta account, both reduce what can be matched to you.

Who else is involved

The page is hosted by Vercel, which processes requests to it. Calendly runs the booking step and sends the related emails. Google provides the calendar the booking lands on and the enquiry log. Meta receives the advertising events described above. Each of these acts as our provider for the purpose described, and none of them is given your information by us to use for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in contact with you about it, and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation that resumes later. Bookings remain in our calendar history, and in Calendly's records, in the normal way. The attribution cookie expires 90 days after your first visit. The per-tab booking data is gone when you close the tab.

If you would like us to delete your enquiry sooner, ask us and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@zagcreates.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your local privacy law, including the right to know what is collected, the right to have it deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either. We will honour those.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for payment.

You can decline the cookies described here by using your browser's controls. The form and the booking step will still work; only the record of how you found us is lost.

Children

This page is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
